Welcome to Rowanwood Farm
Rowanwood Farm is a new farm nestled in the scenic hills of Newtown, CT.
I have spent my life working with animals and always wanted a farm of my own. I wanted to breed responsibly, so I had to be sure to raise animals that are of importance to future generations as well as the needs of homesteaders today.
My animals have the best genetics and bloodlines available. Their blood tested negative for C.A.E., TB, and Brucellosis. I have an active dairy; the does are hand milked daily, producing enough milk for for my household needs as well as my artisan goat milk soap business.
Our pets receive quality healthcare, nutritious food, and lodge in a cozy barn with lush green pastures. Our farm has gone green following the trends of today by harvesting and selling all of the natural products produced from our animals.
Our herd of rare Olde English Baby Doll Southdown Sheep produce amazing quality fiber for hand spinning. Being only knee high they are very easy to care for and make charming pets.
Our Alpacas are beautiful, entertaining, and their fleece speaks for itself.
The Llamas are our pasture guardians and do their job very responsibly, yet are gentle enough for the tiniest newborns as well as children who come to visit us.
