Llama Hiking Adventures!
hiking adventure level 1:
This is our llama hiking adventure! Join us for an educational class and a guided hike with our wonderful llamas in the forest. End this special event at our cute llama gift shop!
Ages: 8 years and up. Children must be able to handle a llama at our discretion.
Time: Approx. 1 hour event
Activity level: Easy to moderate. Llamas are slow walkers.
Cost: $40 per person*
*Large groups can be accommodated by sharing llamas with purchase of tickets.
Includes: Llama Intro, personal interaction with our llamas, followed by a guided hike with stops along the way for photos and more.
important information!
We require a 50 percent deposit which is non-refundable if you don’t show up or you cancel. Remaining balance due in cash upon arrival. In the event we have to cancel the hike on our end due to weather or extenuating circumstance, we can reschedule or refund you ((please note this is at our discretion.)) In case of inclement weather predicted for the day of the hike, contact Rowanwood Farm the night before to reschedule or refund. All hikes are weather dependent on heat, rain, or snow!
LOCATION NOTE: Hiking with the llamas is NOT at the farm —31 Chestnut Hill Rd!!!—-

Bring sturdy shoes ((sneakers Ok)), beverage, and bug spray ((optional)).
Porta-potty on location; hand sanitizer provided
Following the CDC guidelines, masks are optional for outside events.
Cash Purchases only, no ATM nearby, credit card machine does not work in the forest!
