For the last ten years, PETS & VETS 101 has been celebrating the animals we cherish while bringing together the top veterinary and animal rescue experts in the state. A rare and unique opportunity to meet the animals in person and learn their individual care requirements. Whether you’re looking to inspire a budding veterinarian, adopt a new companion animal, add to your friendly farm or simply want to learn more about your favorite domestic animals, PETS & VETS 101 is the program for you! Once again, llamas of Rowanwood Farm will be appearing at the drive-through Living Nativity at the Hopewell Reformed Church on December 7th and 8th, 2024 from 4:30-7pm (both days/weather permitting). Seven separate scenes with live animals, actors & choral groups portray the Christmas story. Donations and toys for needy families are appreciated.

HONORING THE LLAMAS FESTIVAL is presented by Rowanwood Farm, in partnership with Love Has a Home, to honor our Llamas’ Ancestral Lineage. The festival begins with a welcome/intro, a 50min. Llama documentary film, followed by a Llama craft session, then an outdoor honoring ceremony & fire circle. The event concludes with an educational talk followed by a guided Llama trail walk.
